Engagement Photos at Mingo Creek Park

Recently, I had the incredible pleasure of capturing our dear friends’ engagement photos at Mingo Creek Park. It’s a known fact that I’m head over heels for these sessions. I mean, who wouldn’t be? It’s all about love, romance, cuddles, and sparkling eyes. And that’s exactly what these two brought to the table. It was an absolute joy to shoot engagement photos at this park, there’s just something magical about it! Maybe its the serene ambiance, vibrant summer greens, and beautiful sunset that make it such a dream.

The park has unobstructed access to the sky, which makes capturing perfect golden hour photos a breeze. There’s also endless background options with the water, open fields, and bridges. So, you can imagine my excitement when Bre decided to have a sunset session. Mingo Creek Park really does elevate engagement photos.

Now, here’s the twist. When we arrived at this idyllic spot, we found ourselves in the middle of an event! Despite always checking the site before an engagement session, I didn’t see anything posted about it on this day. But hey, no worries! This is where my skills as a natural light photographer come into play. Even with the unexpected turn of events, I can easily adapt and find the perfect spot with natural lighting. It’s fascinating how dynamic engagement photo sessions at Mingo Creek Park can be.

And boy, did we find it! We stumbled upon an adorable open field in the lower part of the park. We were able to capture that golden glow so perfectly! Bre and JR were all smiles and laughs throughout their photoshoot. My family’s known JR for ages, and it’s heartwarming to see him so in love and happy with Bre. She’s an amazingly talented Veterinary Surgeon, and the smartest and sweetest person you could ever be blessed to meet. We’re all so excited to celebrate them in September!
