Once a family session is booked with a retainer, a welcome email is sent with all the details, including next steps like selecting a location and preparing for the session.
For the Essential and Legacy packages, a style guide is provided to help with outfit choices. From there, all you have to do is show up ready to have fun!

Life happens! If you need to reschedule, just try to give me at least 48 hours' notice. We can work together to find a new time that fits your schedule. The retainer is non-refundable, but I'll do my best to accommodate your needs!

Family portraits with pets - THE BEST! They're an important member of your family and deserve to be included if that's what you prefer. The only times there will be restrictions on pets are at locations where animals are prohibited, aggressive behavior, or photography sessions at Autumn Ridge Farm that the farm animals are participating in. 

For family portraits, it's best to wear clothing that feels true to each person's style with ensuring the outfits are coordinated. The key is to coordinate, not match. Neutral tones, soft pastels, and soft textures tend to work beautifully.

Family sessions generally last 1-2 hours, depending on the package selected. The session begins with some posed photos, followed by candid moments as they naturally unfold. Clients can expect a fun experience that captures real connections in an easygoing atmosphere.
