There’s a good chance you have been dreaming about your wedding for years now. You know exactly what you want your day to look like, and nothing is going to change your mind. Now, you need to find the venue that turns your dream into a reality. If you could use some guidance, I have you covered! As a Pittsburgh wedding photographer, I get the chance to go all across the state scoping out the best of the best, and now I’m here to tell you about my faves! If you are looking for outdoor wedding venues in PA, here are the ones I think you should check out!
799 Pinkerton Run Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15071
If you have always dreamed about a celebration surrounded by lush flowers, the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden might just be the place! If you haven’t been before, let me tell you what you can expect from this award-winning venue. The garden was created to be a living museum with plants that are native to the Allegheny Plateau. They have several spots they let you reserve for your wedding, with both outdoor and indoor options to choose from.

For your outdoor ceremony, you can choose from several backdrops including an 1870s restored barn. With this option, you can get married in the yard before hosting a reception in the tented plaza. This area is able to hold up to 220 guests. You can also opt for an intimate ceremony in the iron gazebo, where you can exchange vows while surrounded by colorful flowers. Not only are the locations extremely scenic, but you are going to have so many picture-perfect spots for your picture, including a Japanese bridge and lakeside meadows. This spot lets you buy out the entire site, so you’re not concerned with party crashers throughout your entire day. It’s pet-friendly, and they let you pick from a list of preferred caterers.

320 Camp Run Road, Jones Mills, Pennsylvania 15646
Laurel Hideaway feels like a secret oasis toward the Southern end of the state. This wedding venue is tucked into the middle of the PA woods near Fallingwater and Seven Springs Ski Resort. While you will be outside of the chaos of the cities, you are still going to be near all the accommodations you could possibly need for your guests.

When it comes to the venue itself, you are going to be treated to a rustic yet elevated barn that is going to stand out in the backdrop of your photos. The venue is going to work with you to find the ideal spot to exchange your vows. Once your ceremony is over, your guests can head out to the covered patio and enjoy drinks with a view. Meanwhile, you will have access to the Forbes State Forest trails for your portraits. For your reception, you can hold it inside the barn where the sliding doors let you create an open-air atmosphere. This venue is able to host up to 300 guests, and they give you a ton of freedom when it comes to planning. They don’t limit their catering choices, and they will take care of all the drinks!

3100 National Pike, Beallsville, Pennsylvania 15313
If you are looking for an outdoor wedding venue that is a bit more upscale in PA, you might love Nemacolin Country Club! Nestled in Beallsville, this highly-rated venue is one of the few full-service clubs in the state. They combine high-end amenities with breathtaking views for a day you will never want to forget. As you exchange your vows, you will have the verdant course as well as the rolling Pennsylvania hills to serve as your backdrop. Then, once your I dos are over, your guests can head into the ballroom where you can spend hours celebrating with the people you love the most.

While there is so much to love about this venue, the staff is what takes it over the top! When you choose this center, you are going to have access to an expert crew who knows how to take your vision and make it come to life. Beyond the impeccable aesthetics, you are going to have access to a catering team who will keep you well-fed all throughout your celebration! This venue is ready to accommodate parties of all sizes and will make sure your day is nothing less than a dream!

80 Red Fox Road, Hickory, Pennsylvania 15340
Red Fox Winery has been a staple for generations of Hickory residents. Yes, of course, the wine is incredible, but it’s the atmosphere of this place that makes it so unforgettable! This outdoor wedding venue constantly hosts live music, giving you fabulous PA entertainment, unparalleled views, and some pretty incredible drinks. They also have on-site cabins that you can rent out for the weekend for convenient lodging options for you and your wedding party.

This space has several flexible wedding packages that let you pick and choose what you need throughout the day. With their options, you will have an outdoor pavilion and courtyard where you can spend your day overlooking the Pennsylvania wilderness. The venue will be able to accommodate up to 180 guests, and you will have access to an indoor banquet hall if the forecast calls for rain. Additionally, they are going to give you everything you need for a seamless day, including tables and chairs, use of the winery’s decor, and a wedding coordinator. You can choose your own catering, and the venue will provide the bartenders to keep the drinks flowing late into the night. PS, this is a dog-friendly venue, so no family member has to miss out!
